What is an Estate Sale?

The term estate sale generally refers to the sale of personal property, i.e. furniture, appliances, china, books, linens, etc. It differs from a tag sale in that it usually involves the entire contents of a household and is normally held inside the home.

Estate or tag sale services may be needed after a loved one's death or move to an assisted living facility or nursing home. If you are downsizing or moving from your current home or in the case of divorce or any other lifestyle change we can help. In such emotional & stressful times, we know how difficult it can be to sort out the entire contents of an estate, often accumulated over the course of one's lifetime. What happens after the estate or tag sale?

After the sale, you may keep any of the unsold items, consign them for sale on eBay through us or donate them to charity. We offer clutter removal to clean-up and clean out the balance of the home leaving areas cleaned out broom swept.

What if you can't have the estate or tag sale at your location?
We provide either on-site sale in your home or arrange for the items to be moved and sold in our high traffic location on Long Island. Please ask about this services if you are interested. What should I throw away and what should I keep?

We always advise clients NOT TO THROW ANYTHING AWAY until they've met with us. Heed the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure. All common household goods, pots & pans, even cleaning products, linens, old books & newspapers, garage items. Virtually everything in a home can bring in revenue at your estate or tag sale.
